Baked Burrito A Spice Affair Style
🌯🔥 Baked Burrito with Gooey Cheese Sauce & Fresh Fiesta Salsa 🌶️🧀🍅
Hey friends!!! This one is going to knock your socks off – smoky, cheesy, zesty, and SO easy to make! 🙌
🛒 Ingredients
For the Burrito Bake:
- 🌮 Large tortilla wraps (enough to line a loaf pan)
- 🫘 1 can black beans
- 🌶️ 1/2 tsp A Spice Affair Smoky Chipotle
- 🧂 1 tsp A Spice Affair GPS (Garlic Pepper Salt)
- 🧀 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more, because… cheese 😍)
- 🥩 1 lb ground beef
- 🌮 2 tsp A Spice Affair Taco Seasoning
- 🍅 1 can tomato paste
- 💧 1/2 can water
- 🫑 Optional: sliced onions & peppers sautéed with GPS
For the Gooey Cheese Sauce:
- 🧀 1/2 block cream cheese
- 🧈 1 Tbsp butter
- 🌶️ 1 Tbsp A Spice Affair Fiesta Salsa Blend
- 🍲 1/2 cup broth👉 use the NEW A Spice Affair Chick’n Vegan Broth – 1/2 tsp + 1/2 cup hot water (seriously AMAZING flavour!!!)
- 🧀 1 heaping cup shredded cheddar cheese
For the Fresh Fiesta Salsa Topping:
- 🍅 1 fresh tomato, chopped
- 🌶️ 1 tsp A Spice Affair Fiesta Salsa Blend
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line your loaf pan with tortillas (overlapping & draping over the sides).
- Mash beans 🫘 with Smoky Chipotle + GPS + splash of water. Spread onto tortilla base.
- Sprinkle with cheddar 🧀.
- Cook ground beef 🥩 with Taco Seasoning, tomato paste + water until saucy. Spread over cheese layer.
- (Optional) Add in sautéed onions & peppers for extra flavour 🌈.
- Fold tortillas over the filling and bake for 20 minutes until golden & toasty.
🧀 Gooey Cheese Sauce
- Melt cream cheese + butter in a pot while whisking.
- Add Fiesta Salsa Blend 🌶️.
- Whisk in Chick’n broth
- Stir in cheddar until smooth, gooey & irresistible 😍.
🍅 Fresh Fiesta Salsa
- Chop tomato + mix with Fiesta Salsa Blend. Fresh, zesty & simple!
